LG MR26GA Remote Cover Guide: 2026 Magic Remote Fit, Glow Colors & Compatibility

If you have the 2026 LG MR26GA Magic Remote, do not assume a cover for MR21, MR22, MR23 or MR24 will fit. The safer approach is to match the exact remote model, overall shape and button layout before ordering.

The SikaiCase silicone remote cover is designed for the LG MR26GA (2026) and MR25GA (2025) Magic Remote family. It is available in Black, Glow Blue and Glow Green, with the glow colors designed to become easier to find in a dark room after light exposure.

Does This Cover Fit the LG MR26GA?

Yes. The current SikaiCase listing specifically includes compatibility with the LG MR26GA Magic Remote (2026), as well as MR25GA and related listed model references such as AN-MR25GA and AKB76046612.

Before buying, compare your own remote with the product images. Model labels, remote shape and button layout are more reliable than simply matching the TV brand.

Which Older LG Magic Remotes Are Not Compatible?

This cover is not intended for MR21GA, MR22GA, MR23GA or MR24GA Magic Remotes, and it is also not for AN-MR600 or other older LG designs with a different body or button arrangement.

Why a Model-Specific Remote Cover Matters

A remote cover needs more than roughly the same outer dimensions. The button cutouts, sensor area, microphone area, wheel opening and overall contour all need to line up with the actual remote.

A model-specific cover helps preserve normal access to the controls while adding a more secure silicone grip around the remote body.

Glow Blue vs Glow Green vs Black

• Black: simple everyday look; does not glow in the dark.
• Glow Blue: absorbs light and can glow in dark surroundings.
• Glow Green: also absorbs light and can glow in dark surroundings.

The glow versions are useful if the remote often disappears between cushions or is difficult to spot at night. The glow effect depends on prior light exposure and surrounding darkness.

Does the Cover Block Buttons or Sensors?

The cover is designed with dedicated openings for normal button and sensor access. As with any fitted accessory, correct model matching is essential. If the remote body is different, even a small mismatch can cause poor alignment.

What Protection Does Silicone Add?

The soft silicone shell helps improve grip and adds a layer between the remote and everyday surfaces. It can help reduce scratches, dirt and the impact of minor daily drops.

It should not be treated as a guarantee against severe impact or crushing damage.
